A Night of Mystery, Laughter, and Community Impact
On Saturday, September 13th, Alleghenies United Cerebral Palsy (AUCP) hosted its first-ever Murder Mystery Dinner, “No Clue! Murder Mystery Night” at the historic Masonic Temple in Johnstown, PA. The evening brought together over [insert number of attendees] guests for a night filled with suspense, laughter, and community spirit—all in support of AUCP’s mission to provide emergency support, adaptive equipment, and hope to local individuals and families living with disabilities and financial hardship.
Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner while becoming part of a thrilling whodunit performance by Musical Mysteries & More, who brought the story to life with humor and interactive twists that kept everyone guessing until the very end. The room buzzed with excitement as tables worked together to uncover clues, interrogate suspects, and submit their guesses for the big reveal.
Adding to the fun were themed raffle baskets, exclusive “alibi” tickets, and our first-ever Murder Mystery VIP Tables, which sold out quickly and created a unique way for groups to experience the show together.
The evening also recognized the generosity of our sponsors and community partners, including:
- 1st Summit Bank (Corporate Sponsor)
- Hoganas
- Wessel & Company
- Alleghenies Unlimited Care Providers
- XtraGlobex
- UpStreet Architects Inc.
- CBM Business Machines
- Concurrent Technologies Corporation
Thanks to their support—and the incredible participation of everyone who attended—the event raised vital funds for the AUCP Community Fund and the Be the Future Scholarship Program, both of which directly impact individuals and families in our region.
“We are so grateful to our sponsors, our volunteers, and every guest who came out to support AUCP,” said Tom Lawson, Executive Director of AUCP. “This night was not only about fun and laughter, but also about making a real difference in the lives of those we serve.”
The evening ended with cheers for the winning sleuths who cracked the case, and with the sense that something special had been started. Based on the overwhelming success, plans are already underway for next year’s event—with even more surprises in store.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, or volunteered. Together, we turned a night of mystery into a mission of hope.
